PingPilot Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 2, 2026

Single Purpose

PingPilot is a local-first Gmail cleanup, review, verification-code, sender routine, and user-controlled AI prompt helper that works from visible Gmail browser content without using the Gmail API.

Data The Extension Reads

When enabled in Gmail, the extension reads visible Gmail rows, opened messages, sender addresses, subjects, snippets, links, and small text excerpts needed for the active local feature. It does not perform background full-inbox scraping.

Storage

Settings, saved routines, recent verification-code mirrors, and local review state are stored in Chrome extension storage or local browser storage. This data stays on the user's device unless the user explicitly copies or exports it.

External Requests

Corporate sender favicon lookups send only the sender domain to named favicon providers. Email bodies are not sent to favicon endpoints.

AI Bridge

AI Bridge is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, the extension prepares a foreground prompt preview from selected visible or opened Gmail content. The user controls whether to copy the prompt or open an AI provider. The extension does not silently submit Gmail content to AI services.

Limited Use

PingPilot uses user data only to provide or improve its single purpose. It does not sell user data, use user data for personalized advertising, transfer user data to data brokers, determine creditworthiness, or allow humans to read user Gmail data.
